I agree that it is a nice feeling to rent a home in certain areas of the U.S. to experience the local lifestyle… i.e. the furniture, outdoor space and front porch. Unlike the "tubes" in Tokyo that would make me claustrophobic, the "pod" seems reasonable - especially in a City with so much to offer you're almost never in the room, any way!
